Easy does it.
You are into doing, accomplishing, achieving, succeeding, outdoing, impressing. I am much more into the heart of things, the heart of you, and the heart of life. I am not an executive as you use the word. Getting things done is not at the top of My list. Or, rather, let Me say I know how to get things done, and I know it is not by effort.
When I created the universe, I breathed in and I breathed out — I did not huff and puff. When I created the universe, I breathed life into it. It came alive itself.
And so when you have projects, do not get held in the sway of them. They are not the motivators of you. You are the motivators of them.
Drive is not what gets things done. Desire gets things done. Intention gets things done. Force doesn't get things done. Pressure doesn't get things done. Easy does it.

Achieving. Receiving.
Doing. Intending.
I like to tell myself I understand what You are saying here, dear God, but how many times a day do I fall back on trying to figure out what I can do to get where You are guiding me. Thoroughly conditioned into achieving, I don't really believe in receiving any more, in something "coming alive itself". Smacks of freeloading. And feels unreliable. The only safe thing is doing it yourself. Ah, the doer! And what does he have to show for his doing when it comes to God and to Love and to Joy? You know how much I love to hear You speak the way You do in what I quoted above. I'm longing for Your words to finally send the doer to sleep, this accomplisher who still wants to think up spiritual tricks and machinery to hasten his evolution and find God. Yes it's preposterous. It's also understandable. And it's obsolete.
