I have been a subscriber/reader of your letters for some time. I just downloaded a copy of the book of 10 Magnificent Letters. I, too, receive messages from God, and I know how much courage it takes to share this with "others." Your Letters From God are very inspiring. surgery

On July 10th, 2008 nancy says:

Dear Gloria and "heaven admin"
I am not a surgeon but a general practitioner in England , we call our consultation periods "surgeries" . I have always known[havent we all ] that there is more to healing than drugs and what better way to bring it into sharp focus than ones own illness [breast cancer] Bernie has been my main inspiration and his work showed me that recovery was possible.Through Bernies website I was put in contact with a wonderful man called Ken who was told 24 years ago by doctors he had 6 months to live .What do doctors know !!!! I have grown exponentially in the last 2 years and of course I learn more every day . I understand now that my illness is just God redirecting me to greater things . Perhaps like Bernie I will go into medical education in some way .I am trying to let things unfold naturally[not always easy] It was Bernie who told me about heavenletters and my goodness I dont know which prayer they answered but I am grateful every day as they daily increase my awareness and the meaning of God for me.If ever I feel anxious now I tune into my heart beat and imagine Gods love pulsating through my body. I feel far more connected to my patients now and wheras before I may have felt helpless as a physician in some instances I know now that just loving them is powerful medicine for them and me .
