a story of willingness
Your life is what you make of it. Make it something wonderful. Make it a story of courage. Make it a story of willingness. Make it a great love story. Make it an adventure of heart.
Today, "willingness" is what strikes me as remarkable about this Heavenletter. What is willingness in a world that taught you coercion and compulsion and force – and to hate them? Has not God been used by man as an excuse for the need to manipulate and to force, has He not been depicted as the progenitor of coercion and force? To become willing again, I believe we have to be more lenient with ourselves, thoroughly confused as we are. At the same time, it seems obvious that we need to be quite clear about, first, the need to have things our way, and second, the means we employ to ensure this. This world can look like a sorry place where everyone is trying to subtly or openly force everyone else including God. I feel it deeply and painfully. But also, therefore, I deeply feel the dawning wonder of courage, of willingness and of love.

WOW, I can't tell you the joy -- and the fear -- I feel reading Heavenletters.
Joy because I am awed that all is well and that I can feel God’s love.
Fear, because I’m kind of afraid to feel the joy, like it may go away. or I may go away.
I thank God for this moment of peacefulness.
