Ciao Danilo. Isn't this like

Ciao Danilo. Isn't this like saying that we always seek a cheap and somewhat dishonest escape from the suffering of hunger by trying to find comfort in eating? The suffering of hunger is irredeemable, it will only end when we die. Until then, if we are weaklings, we will again and again resort to the cheap escape of eating, probably despising ourselves for this lack of character. Or we'll take those drugs that numb the sensation of being hungry. If we had some grit, we wouldn't allow ourselves to be forced to eat, we would suffer it through to the end and not be enslaved by the need to eat.

Yes, I'm pulling your leg, dear, but the joke is on me as well since I'm pretty much in the same boat you are in. The only difference between you and me (two souls who, for reasons forgotten, have agreed to take on particularly painful egos) could be in the idea I have that for every suffering, even the big fat metaphysical one, there probably is some "solution" that is as simple, innocent, obvious and immediate as eating is in the case of hunger. Or breathing in the case of need for oxygen. Or, when you turn in your bed during the night and your behind gets uncovered, unconsciously reaching there and pulling the cover back over it. Something like that. I cannot claim, though, that I really believe this.....
