fossil fuel

How to represent this fantastic work of art without quoting all of it?

The sun went up, and it went down, and although directions do not exist, we called it east, we called it west, and so things started to become difficult because from then on we could not stand leaving anything unnamend, at the same time getting confused and tense when we didn't know the name of it.

...directions and vocabulary were set up in the manifest world so you would have something to talk about and ponder over. Worry grew because of hesitancy in the world. It grew because the right words could not be found. You imagined an abyss before you.

What an exquisitely crafted trap: Naming, once started, breeds the need to name it all and thus know it all, down to the pi-mesons and beyond, and the more knowledge of this kind is accumulated, the more the sense of actually being clueless and its companion, fear, grow beyond measure in the background.

What you have now, We can call jet lag, or, more accurately, consciousness lag.
.....
All your quandaries are boundaries. By whatever name they go by, your ideas fuel your quandaries. Your quandaries run on fossil fuel.

How healing a sunset unnamed and unknown will be when we finally understand that the pictures on the wall are not our mother.
