A key to our vulnerability
Often, I feel like all the knowledge I could ever need has been given in previous Heavenletters. But, then, letters like this one offer even deeper insight and valuable re-emphasis.
I share Emilia’s love of the image of a magnificent tree, with its integrity, innocence and calm.
This letter points out, though, that our gift of freedom to choose from our many options creates vulnerability that a tree doesn’t face. For me, this vulnerability has led to past habits of self recrimination, self doubt and, at times, a poor self image.
Both Desertrose and Emilia point me towards solutions to this as described in this wonderful letter. Desertrose emphasizes the need to look within and not outward toward things like self help books. Emilia emphasizes the key to the origin of my problems: “Love yourself, and you will move where grace awaits you.” I speak for myself, but I suspect I speak for others, also. I would like to relax more and not struggle so hard. “Following your heart should be easy.” I would like feel my worth and goodness more deeply, as in: ”Love yourself.”
I do have total faith in the future: “…you will move where grace awaits you.” I do accept that to see the light that is mine, I must more completely love, accept, be confident in, and be thankful for who I am. Thanks, everyone…..Chuck
