A book evolving
Gloria, I am so glad you are enthusiastic about this book idea. It is still in the idea stage with nothing written, but I could have a chapter in rough draft and email-able form within a month.
It would indeed be wonderful to have a Heavenletters book sell like hotcakes and I am convinced that that is exactly what will happen. The first Heavenletters book contains fantastic letters, but it lacks a hook to grab the casual reader’s attention. As you said, the personal letters are the hook that God used to get this all started. The Personal Questions and Heavenpetals forums are quite compelling, they get your attention quickly and hold it and leave you wanting more. We can all relate to the heartfelt anguish often expressed and have similar questions.
The large number of Heavenletters to draw from will actually make this project easier rather than harder. They are so well indexed and archived they are quite easy to search!
I have some questions to answer before I can get started like will the people with questions on the forums be ok with their questions appearing in a book and are there more questions to draw from beyond the ones in these two forums?
Who should I contact with these questions and is there a particular forum that would be best for these logistics?
