How true, aren't we more afraid of our true being, our light to shine than to leave our old Self behind.... Why is this so? Because the DNA of the human body is programmed to rely on old INFORMATION which causes us to think a certain way, belief a certain way and act in a certain way..... in short our bodies hold a Software of OLD HABITS..... and, there is nothing more difficult than to break old habits.....

To break old habits requires us TO KNOW OURSELVES :
- to be aware of our habits
- to acknowledge and take responsibility for them
- to make the decision that we want to change and break them and last but not least, - start the PROCESS OF CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION....

I have found that the last point is the most difficult. OLD HABITS are persistent. Why? Because we are afraid to leave them behind because they have become so dear and familiar to us and, because for fear of what will happen next. To leave an old habit behind requires us to step into uncertainty. Uncertainty of an unknown future causes fear. So, here we are again.... being confronted with our core fears of safety, value and power. It all can be traced back to one of these three core patterns of fear.

Therefore, today's quote is an invitation and motivation to take the step into the uncertainty of the NOW-moment where our salvation and transformation can take place. Where we have access to the infinite omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent power of universal energy, our ticket to becoming WHO and WHAT we truly are: Spirit-BEINGS who express themselves through a human body instead of humans who also have a Soul.
