Irish and Scottish Gaelic translations
Posted October 6th, 2009 by AGhaidhealI'm afraid that God's language is too complex for me to translate into Gaeilge or Gaidhlig, but I think that it's important for people of other cultures, even small cultures, to be able to experience his words first hand. Almost all Irish speakers speak English, but Ireland has what you might call a 'modern age' of people who are trying to base their lives upon nature, and much of the information from this actually comes from Gaelic literature.
It'd also be nice to have translations into other languages which have a more recent spiritual heritage, I'm sure that they would really appreciate such an attempt, e.g. Sami, Greenlandic, Basque, and native american languages such as Cree, all of which are very nature-based.
