I believe I do hear this music, although not with my ears. It has no sound and is more heart-rendingly beautiful than anything I have ever known. What else is there to do but to shut up and hear this music? Are there additives to improve the musical performance, or is there anything that needs to be done except listening and, as we do when listening for some faint outer sound, lean there?
And what is it you have to do?
Not much.
Think of Me. Walk in My light. Be true to yourself. Follow your heart to Me. Stop following other things. (#89)

Mind needs to sleep, especially when it is very intelligent and thus proud and thus not too bright. Does mind have to learn something so I can hear the music of my soul which is the music of God? Does it need training or disciplining, my mind? No, no. Trying that will only keep me busy another several millennia. Listen past it. Pretend it is sleeping. It will always be busy with its calculations, speculations, contemplations, measurements, assesssments, judgements, it will always figure, always put together notes and try to make you believe it's music. Let it. Don't listen to it, don't hear it, and you will hear the music.
Seeing My love is all you have to do. When you see My love, it is done. (#102)

Music and love must be terrible things, frightening things, or why would we still want to do or understand something instead of simply having them, why would we still want to be told things we can do, or why would we still want to hold our breath until we turn blue in the face and God has to do our bidding?
But is that a problem? It is not. Nothing is a problem. Fulfillment is always only one tiny step or non-step away.
One little step, and you are here. (#102)
