Any idea you had a minute ago

Any idea you had a minute ago is a preconceived thought. Preconceived thoughts weigh you down. They are hurdles you have to jump over. What do YOU think? You don’t know what you think because your mind has been crowded with thoughts that came from somewhere else.

Rubble underfoot today in the mountains,
sticks and stalks, grasses, fir needles.
Knowing what they are,
they are as if painted or taken from a textbook;
unknowing, glowing and nameless aliveness.

This is an idea of a minute ago,
but now, What do YOU think?
I think of Your famous trashcan for thoughts,
knowing full well it is still not my own thought
but a hurdle to jump over.

My own thought cannot be known to this one who thinks.
My own thought must be Yours or that of the fir needles.
