This message was so meaningful to me today. My 23 year old son had a massive heart attack due to a clotting disorder 3 months ago. He had served 4 years in the military with 2 delpoyments as an elite soldier with the Special Operations and was just 4 days from completing a 22 week course to become a police officer.

Yesterday he had his first appointment with his cardiologist since his release from the hospital. His heart has healed significantly although he has scarring that will effect his ability to become an officer or have a high-stress job.

I will read the first lines of this letter daily, affirming all is well with his heart and that God is within it and working for his good. I affirm that as one door closes, a much brighter door opens. I affirm that with God all things are possible. I affirm he lives a long and healthy and happy life.

Thank you God for keeping and caring for my son's heart and soul.
