Jochen and Bernie, your responses gave me greater understanding. The simple metaphors you pointed out, Jochen. And, Bernie, the simple statement you wrote says so much more. Makes me realize that maybe I never really accepted this, that we can abandon the past -- like what a novel idea,as if were the first time I ever really heard it. It needed repeating. .

And then, Karen, in the haiku you made, I found the HOW we mortals always seem to seek, and here it is:

"Every time come back to love."
