Without dreams, you would be

Without dreams, you would be heavy-footed. Tied tightly to the ground, you would be leaden. I say again, What about being Heavened? Certainly you would be light of foot in Heaven. Even on your way to Heaven, you would be light-footed. Your heart is connected to all this.

As a survivor of polio and one who had been diagnosed with post polio syndrome in late 2006, my feet and legs felt like lead....I was heavy footed but God has led me on a path of miraculous healing of mind, body and spirit. And I have been focusing on feeling light of foot and placing myself in God's Tunnel of Love to heal every muscle and nerve to bring about light-ness. This letter comes, as always, at such a perfect time as I have felt God calling me to train to run the Race for Rehab - next year - The Boston Marathon - to raise monies for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital here in Boston. I bought my first pair of running shoes and I work with a personal trainer and for the first time in my life have started running! And some days, I question what/why I am doing this -- I left my full time job a year ago and pursued my bliss of writing poetry and starting my own business and leaving a job which was totally reality based (a steady paycheck, etc) and now I am training to run a Marathon! And once again, God answers with such Love and Tenderness and I am sitting here with tears of gratitude overflowing. I am so grateful for how God has provided in every sense of the word to help me realize my dreams and to support me as I continue to DREAM ... and when those doubts creep in, I shall return to reading and rereading this beautiful Heaven Letter. I am printing it out to put in my journal.
And thanks to all for your beautiful comments...I hold you all so dear in my heart.
THANK YOU! Here's to DREAMING and DREAMING BIG!
