Dear friends,

earlier this week I asked God a question through Gloria. The answer I got the next day is like a sudden, unexpected culmination of the sixty-plus years of this life, as if a critical mass has been reached and now a completely different life is about to begin -- the life I always longed for and always avoided. I'm overjoyed, shaken, thrilled, and there is not much I can say at the moment except, Thank You, Dear God.

But I also long to say thank you to the one through whom all of this happens, who has to read the question, type the answer and perhaps write several emails in the process. Let me just quote the email I sent to her:

Dear Gloria,

it's time to tell you how very much I appreciate your help in all of this, especially your typing for me and all the time you seem to be investing day and night. I know we are all but water carriers of God. Oh, water.
