There is a stunning final scene from the movie Titanic...when the camera comes in...zooms in...like a curtain call at the smiling faces of the actors...in costume but not character...with countenances gleaming...as if to dispel their various theatrical personas...Why it was just a show...we all survived...we did not go down with the ship....look not even a drop of water to wear!
And what great thespians We all are...And...we don't have to die before we can take a bow!
