a great unmarked territory
Without your prescribed boundaries, you feel that you are flying blind. And that is exactly what you must do. You can only fly blind.
I said: "Sure, there is nothing to go by, I know that, and I like it that way, I like to be free."
What did I know! What saylor's yarn of freedom and boundlessness was I flying by, everything neatly laid out like a Lego world! Flying blind, so utterly blind and unknowing – how can you fly with... nothing? Too blind, dear God, You didn't tell me there will be no bearings at all, just that invisible, inaudible beacon I can't even locate because it's nowhere and everywhere.
If you think it's too blind, that's only because it's not really blind yet. In true blindness, you won't mind any more. It's this half-sight that feels so maddening. Allow blindness, you'll see.
You can only fly blind. Any parameters you put down are interference. The fact is that you fly blind anyway. You write down these little mooring places and think that means you know where you are going. You don't even know where you have been, My children.
You fly blind, or it is not flying. Flying by the stars, that is another thing. But you have to know the wisdom of the stars in order to rely on them.
You have an inner guidance system that is from above. It is not from littleness. It is from greatness. It is not from tiny marks but from a great unmarked territory. You have to trust. What other choice do you have?
I don't know about trust. All I have is sense of adventure and that inescapable determination to find out. Or in.
Now is time to let go. You have had enough of holding on.
And you have been holding on to fantasy.
Let go of fantasy, and you have Me.
That is what is left.
After fantasy, there is God.
All you ever had was Me.
Then all I imagine I know is fantasy, and all I imagine I see is fantasy – and unknowing, unseeing, there's You?
