indeed, "in theory there is no difference between theory and practice; in practice, there is!" that's what it said inside my 9th grade algebra book. so the practice makes for the perfection, as you and god so beautifully point out. it seems the practicum we are practicing is the real-time experience as distinct from the theoretical yakkity yak -- although the yakkity yak has its own validity and is itself always pervaded with the real-time experience, if we notice, for the prerequisite for an intellect to distinguish these things, it seems like, is a self-aware consciousness that provides the implicit context.

another thing i heard once that kind of sums it up is, "the only thing predestined is free will." that always made me chuckle.
