Taking time for thought
For honest observation
For a mere moment's hesitation
To look at
Where we're at
How we're constantly on the go
Afraid of calming down
Of going too slow
Either in life or in our minds
In love with filling our time
Rehashing our times
Awaiting the time
When we'll be where we want to be
Before we can be 100% glad
It could very well be stated
That society in general
Addicted to speed
To pseudo glee
Is spinning it's wheels
And has the cultural attention span of a cat
No judging
No placing blame
For we're all in love with some form of superficiality that distracts
And not to say every moment need be "deep"
Heavily contemplated
For neither is this where real joy is at
Just uncovering some clues
About you and me
Us all
That we may acknowledge and see
How individually and collectively
We're so often afraid to truly Be
With what it Is to be Glad
As are the children
Before they're taught to be sad
Like unto nature
That loves everyday
Demonstrating life's natural way
While we're more than not busy
Ignoring it's, our, beauty
In favor of our next thrill or fad
For it seems to me
The daily unfolding of a flower
A blade of grass
Unnoticed
Blowing with the wind for hours
Has more realness and power
Than societies motto that happiness is some thing to be had
For as we take the time
To look at and see
To look with the eyes that See
Presence is where it's at
Not presence to use
As a tool
To succeed and achieve
But that Is our success
The achievement of Now
Time well "spent"
Nurtured
Cared for
Allowed
This is our call
The fulfillment living within our relationship with all
Not segmented or segregated
Nothing discounted or awaited
But Love's Self arrived
Elated
Smiling just Because
Every moment
Contains IT
Presence
Divinely
Eternally
Sweetly
