Although you are to give without thought of return, you are not to give too much of yourself away. You are not to make yourself a slave to others' needs and wants. This is a pitfall. Over-giving does not serve another well. And it may consume too much of your energy and leave you depleted and resentful. Perhaps you are expending too much. What you spend of yourself is not any other person's responsibility. It's your own. Don't blame them.

I did not tell you to starve yourself in order to feed the world.

I did not say to spend so much of your energy that you have none left.

There are pleasures in life, so take pleasure in them. Let life be as a meal you eat. Smack your lips and enjoy every bite. Why not? Why not take pleasure in life?

You are very good, but you are not above living life with pleasure.

Today, when anyone asks you to do something, say, "With pleasure."

When you ask yourself to do something, say to yourself, "With pleasure! It will be my pleasure. Happy to do it."

Sometimes you want Me to be just like you. You want a God Who gets upset with things the way you do. You want a God Who storms and rages at the unevenness in the world as you do. You want Me to rail at injustice and take a fiery stand. You want Me to be a dragon who shoots fire from His mouth wherever and whenever you want Me to, and you want Me to be a lamb with you. Fortunately, I am not a dragon. I set the world in motion. I turned the wheel of it. You are the lamb of God.

Guilt is not honorable. It is a repeated appraisal. It is ego supreme. You punish yourself with guilt, as if punishment would erase error. Erase the concept of guilt. Erase the concept of sin, and guilt will evanesce.

Who are you to lend so much importance to what you see as error? In terms of the whole configuration of the universe, you cannot say with certainty what error is. You see only such a small part of life. Merely the twitch of a horse's tail.

Every child of Mine is meant to receive. Know this: You will receive, but it is not for you to carry the idea that others must give to you. You do not want to think that debts are owed you or that anyone is beholden to you, for you limit yourself when you think that way. You unlimit yourself when you think of what you are to give.

You who are born of light, take delight in Who you are. You are from light, so you might as well sparkle. When you look at light today, how it falls on the trees, how faces are lit up with it, how Godly it is, then remember that you are this self-same light. I adjure you to look at the light.

When you spread your eyes on the details of the world, you see details. You see the stitches that were made. You see all the twists and turns and back and forths. In your looking at the specific, you may overlook the overall. Beauty is vast, and unbeautiful is small.

Everything in life circulates. Air does. Books do. Thoughts do. Everything in life recharges itself. When you are out in life, you circulate. But when you stay in, you also do. It is impossible not to circulate. All of life is a meeting with one circulating thing or another.

You even have been known to circulate the past, recycle it and bring it to the present.

Love circulates. Love steps out of the past. Forms of love may hold onto the past, but the love I speak of can only be present.

When there is room for all, there is no collision. Remind yourself that there is room for all, and life will rise to a higher domain.

Let this be your motto: There is room for all.

Then in life you will move over in your seat a little bit to make another welcome. You will make room in your heart.

Welcome is a wonderful thing. Everyone wants to feel welcomed. There is great joy in being welcomed. Make welcoming your joy as well.

Let this be your motto: There is enough for all. Enough of everything for all.

Say to yourself today:

"Today I give love. Whatever I do today, I will take a moment before to remind myself that I am one who gives love.

"Before I call customer service, I will remember I am to espouse love. I can make my claim, and still espouse love. Just as I take the time to dial the phone, I can press Star in my heart for love.

"The person on the other end of the phone may not yet know what service is and that he or she is to give love, but I do know, so now there is no excuse for me to give less than love.
