Dear Gloria, I'm not quite clear about this sentence. When I read it with just a comma and without the dashes, it seems easier to understand. Or am I just not getting it?

No has its place, certainly, but No is not to outdo Yes. Many things are said No to, or Later, or Perhaps when Yes is fitting. Yes fits in every well. No closes whereas Yes opens. Sometimes it is your own face you close the door on.

When you go to bed at night, yes, remember that you are going to bed for more than sleep. You are going to bed to rest in My arms. What else can you do but that when you lay your head down at night. Those who have a hard time going to sleep may be fearing their thoughts, so substitute the ones I give you. The fear of what thoughts may come to you rests on the deeper fear of letting go of supposed control. Letting go of control is the same as resting in My arms. It is nothing more that that.
